1980s Cal Ripken Jr. Game-Worn, Autographed Orioles Cap

Cal Ripken Jr. was a fixture in Baltimore his entire life. While a youngster, Jr. watched from afar as his dad dispensed wisdom to the Orioles.

This Orioles cap was worn by Cal in the early to mid ’80s. Although the cap’s size tag is unreadable, it’s been determined to be 7 1/2 or 7 3/8. Ripken was known to have worn size "7 3/8" throughout his career. Written on the underside of the bill is "8," right next to Ripken’s autograph. The cap shows decent use with staining in the headband and dirt on the front’s white surface.
