1980s Jose Canseco Signed, Inscribed, Game-Used Bat

Jose Canseco used this uncracked Worth model WC115 bat in the late 1980s, when he wreaked havoc as an Oakland A’s outfielder. The lower portion of the handle has a light coat of pine tar, and the barrel reveals several hit marks. Uniform number “33” appears in black felt tip on the knob and barrel end. Canseco signed (“8”) the barrel in blue felt tip and added the inscription “86 ROY (Rookie of the Year).” A minimal application of clear coating has been applied to the signature to preserve quality. There are smoke-related flaws on the handle of the war club, which measures 35” and weighs 34 oz.
