1980s Ken Anderson Game-Worn Bengals Jersey

Had the Cincinnati Bengals been able to gain 1-yard on four plays in Super Bowl XVI, Ken Anderson could have been talked about with the greats. But San Francisco’s defense tightened and held its ground. The 49ers won their first of five Super Bowls and Cincinnati is still trying to win its first Lombardi Trophy. This jersey was worn by Anderson when he had the Bengals near the top of the NFL. All of the numerals are plasticized and applied in two-color formation. The Bengals traditional striping is found on the front where the shoulder and sleeves meet. Light overall use is exhibited. Tail tagging includes a Russell Athletic size "46" tag, Koch Sporting Goods label and fabric content tag. "ANDERSON" is applied to a nameplate on the verso.
