1980s Rafael Santana Game-Used Bat

Shortstop Rafael Santana was known for “rainbow throws” that got the runners out just in time. Santana used this bat with the New York Mets in the 1980s. The uncracked lumber measures approximately 34″ and weighs approximately 31.7 oz. The bat shows exceptional use with hit marks and multi-colored rack marks. The handle is heavily coated with pine tar and has slight checking (scoring). The knob has Santana’s uniform number “3” written in black felt-tip marker.
