1980’s Robin Yount Game-Used, Signed Spikes

Robin Yount pounded out base hits and helped keep fans coming back to County Stadium during his unprecedented 20-year career in Brew City. It is no small wonder that since Yount left, the Brewers have never been able to regain the magic it had with “The Kid.” Yount wore these Pony [size] “9” spikes during his days with the Crew. Both spikes show great use with County Stadium dirt embedded equally on both. Soil is caked into the bottoms and “19” is neatly written in black felt tip on the inside tongue of both spikes. Yount probably used these extensively, given the use both exhibit. The Hall of Famer also signed both cleats (“8”) in blue felt tip on the white sides. We have photo matched the cleats affirming the style that Yount wore late in his career.
