1981 The Royal Wedding Invited Guest Invitation & Celebration Programs

Presented is a collection of two programs from the 1981 (July, 29th) The Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer.

The first program is a real treasure. It was sent out in advance of the ceremony and only given out to invited guests that attended. It would have been the only way to receive the invitation.

It has 17 pages and features the gilt border and crest of the Princess of Wales. The order/form of service and details are in the interior.  The Royal printers mark is also featured on the last page. Overall shows some expected aging/ handling wear especially concentrated along the top border but is intact. The program measures 8 x 11 1/4 inches (20.32 x 28.575 cm)

The second program is the commercial “Official Programme” that benefited the disabled. The booklet is 24 pages and outlines the wedding related events.
