1983 Jim Rice Game-Used, Signed Bat

The Hall of Fame may very well come knocking on Jim Rice’s door someday. The immensely strong Rice struck terror in the hearts of opposing pitchers for 16 seasons with the Boston Red Sox. Offered is the eight-time All-Star’s Louisville Slugger R212 from the 1983 season, in which he batted .305 and belted 39 home runs. Rice’s signature is written in blue felt tip on the barrel (“8”). His number “14” is written in black marker on the knob. The barrel shows blue bat rack and hit marks, and there is a hint of pine tar on the handle. The stick measures 35 inches and weighs 33 ounces.
