Description
The 1985 St. Louis Cardinals had Hall of Fame shortstop Ozzie Smith as their anchor. The Cards beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2 games before losing a dramatic Game 7 in the World Series to their local rival Kansas City Royals. Presented is a ring from the 1985 NL Championship victory.
The ring is 10 karat yellow gold and made by Jostens. It features a cushion shaped cabochon cut imitation ruby gemstone, and is pave set with (31) round single cut diamonds (weight of .35 carat) all with VS-1 to VS-2 clarity and G to H color. The central bezel portion features the Cardinals team logo encircled by raised text showcasing, “National League Champions.”
The name “HAGER” is on the right shank of the ring which matches a local St. Louis business (door and hardware manufacturer) name along with the National League logo.  The left shank features the classic birds and bat logo with “1985, 14th World Series” text. The interior is engraved “10K©JOSTENS”. It’s a size 11.5 and weights 31.1 grams.
