1986-87 Steve Garvey Game-Worn Glove

One of the last gloves worn during Steve Garvey’s storied career, in which he played in a NL record 1,207 consecutive games, is this heavily-used Louisville Slugger 13″ first baseman mitt. This beautiful leather is model “LSPG-H” and features the proper “H and B” logo patch on the thumb side, and a black and orange “LS” patch above the exterior wrist strap. “Garvey” and “6” has been markered over on the wrist strap, an act that was commonly performed on vintage mitts. Without question, a solid gamer from the 1974 MVP’s days as a San Diego Padre.
