Description
Rickey Henderson played in 25 major league seasons, spanning four decades. When on base, pitchers knew to keep their eyes on him at all times. Otherwise, they would be punished. Henderson set a major league record for steals in a season with a remarkable 130 base thefts in 1982. This stick is a Louisville Slugger T141 from his 1986-89 seasons with the New York Yankees, a span in which he went to three All-Star games. The uncracked bat is 34 inches long and weighs 33.5 ounces. His number “24” is penned in silver on the knob, and on the end of the barrel. The handle features a 7″ section of scoring. This bat was not used in a game, and it contains some artificial scraping on the barrel.
