1986 Fleer Michael Jordan Card RC Rookie #57

The hallmark of any great basketball card collection is the Michael Jordan Fleer rookie. For about seven years, no recognized manufacturer marketed basketball cards. That was until Fleer entered the fray in 1986. The big card was that of Jordan. In the photo Jordan is soaring through the air en route to a slam dunk. Could there be another lasting image than that of MJ flying through the air?

The offered card is ready to be enjoyed as it is indeed the marquee 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan graded rookie card (#57). However, it was qualified in the process of authentication by PSA. It came back with the notation that it was recolored. Under closer examination, one of the corners was indeed touched up with red marker. However, regardless of qualification it is still one of the hottest cards on the basketball market and a nice way in for those with a lighter pocket.
