1986 Jesse Barfield Game-Used, Signed Bat

Jesse Barfield, the man with a cannon arm and quick bat, enjoyed brief stardom. The All-Star used this Adirondack model 225B bat (34 1/2″ and 32.5 ounces) during his magical season of 1986 when he led the league with 40 home runs. Baseball transfer marks appear on the left and back barrel, while blue and red bat rack marks are found on the right, front and left barrel. A light layer of pine tar appears on the slightly smoke-damaged handle. “29” is written in black felt tip on the knob. Barfield signed (“9”) the barrel in black felt tip.
