1987 Reggie Jackson Game-Used Bat

SKU: 32096 Category:

Wherever Reggie went, a frenzy of some sort wasn’t far behind. His scrutinized “I’m the straw that stirs the drink” quote made headlines in the media-hungry New York. In the mid ’80s, the 500 Home Run Club member decided it was time to call it a career. This Rawlings Adirondack (288RJ) bat (34″ and 32 oz.) was used by Jackson in 1987, as he was putting the finishing touches on his Hall of Fame statistics. Light use is showcased with a number of scratches and indentations. The pine tar coated (top part) handle has a crack in two places that reaches into the barrel. It has been glued back together. Also, for easy identification, his jersey number “44” appears on the knob in black felt tip.
