1987 Reggie Jackson Game-Worn Warm-up A’s Jersey
Out of stock
When Reggie Jackson returned to the Bay Area, in the twilight of his career, everyone knew his days of hitting 40 home runs and driving in over 100 runs were in the past. But Reggie could provide young sluggers, Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco, with invaluable guidance. This green V-neck batting practice pull-over was worn by Jackson during his final season. Great use is exhibited on the two-color tackle twill identifiers with fraying and outstanding label wear. Scuff marks appear on the A’s team insignia. Yellow/green/yellow braiding surrounds the neck and both sleeve ends. Two heavily washed out and ruckled flag tags occupy the collar: MLB and fabric/size “XL.” A Majestic tag is sewn into the tail. A Dick Dobbins LOA, one of the first jersey authenticators, will be forwarded to the winner.
