As their floor general and top perimeter defender, Walt Frazier led the New York Knicks to the franchise’s only two championships (1970 and 1973), and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1987. Upon his retirement from basketball, Frazier went into broadcasting; he is currently a color commentator for telecasts of Knicks games on the MSG Network.
Presented is a Walt Frazier game worn New York Knicks mesh home jersey from an Old Timer’s Game in 1987. Across the front is the name “NEW TORK” in orange tackle twill on a blue tackle twill backing and on the back is the name “FRAZIER” in blue tackle twill. On the left tail is a white patch with “6”LB” (extra inches in body length) and white patch denoting the year of issue “87”. Next to these labels is the “Sand-Knit” label with the size “48” and “Sand-Knit” New York Knicks exclusive tag.
Frazier’s player number “10” appears on both the front and back of the shirt in orange tackle twill on a blue tackle twill. The jersey shows light wear and retains ideal display quality.
