Description
Billy Jo Robidoux was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 6th round of the 1982 Major League Baseball Draft. Robidoux would make his Major League Baseball debut with the Milwaukee Brewers on September 11, 1985, playing with them until 1988, then signing as a free agent for the 1989 season with the Chicago White Sox. After one season with the White Sox he signed with the Boston Red Sox for the 1990 season. He appeared in his final game on September 17, 1990.
Presented is a Billy Jo Robidoux game worn Milwaukee Brewers jersey from the 1988 season. The grey away pullover jersey features his number “13” sewn on the back, with “Milwaukee” in a blue yellow tackle twill script and a numeral identifier “13” on front. Front tail tagging shows it is a Rawlings [size] 44 with ’88 ROBIDOUX and “T” (for tapered) patch. It also features a Set 1 1988 flap. The sleeve and neck are elasticized in yellow/blue The jersey features a patch on the right sleeve for H/K to memorialize former manager and coach Harvey Kuenn. Overall, shows moderate wear with thread fraying on the identifiers etc.
Also included is a 1988 Score baseball card autographed by Robidoux for added measure. He signed it in blue felt tip (“8-9”).
