1990 Nick Leyva Game-Worn Phillies Jersey

Nick Leyva’s best managing job came when he was wearing this jersey. In the 1990 season, his Phillies finished close to the .500 mark. After 13 games in 1991, Leyva was relieved of his duties. Offered here is a heavily worn [size] “46” Rawlings jersey from the manager. Great use is shown on the identifiers, which are sewn to the jersey in a unique two-color formation. Burgundy and white stripes flow from the neckline down the arms. The intricate tagging system is situated in the collar. A Rawlings size tag is joined by “T” and “Leyva” gray swatches, and a “Set 1 1990” flag tag. (The “T” means “tapered.”) The jersey was originally given to Bruce Wendell, the former Senior Vice President of Promotions for Capitol Records.
