Marlon Maxey played college basketball for the University of Minnesota and then for the University of Texas at El Paso. He participated in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in 1992, where he was named unanimous tourney MVP. In an NBA career that lasted two seasons, both of them spent with the Timberwolves, he played in a total 98 games, and averaged 4.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
Presented is one of Marlon Maxey’s game-worn warm-up shooting jacket from his time with the Timberwolves which shows solid wear. This jacket is from the 1992-93 season. The back features a large Timberwolves logo and on front the “WOLVES” logo in two color green/white tackle twill. The interior collar tagging features the Champion Timberwolves exclusively (with BODY LENGTH +4 – SLEEVE LENGTH +5, Champion [size] 48 with wash instructions flap marked with his jersey number “25” on it in black felt tip.
