1992-93 Tom Glavine Game-Used Glove, Signed Atlanta BravesGo Back
Like his fellow Hall of Fame team-mate Greg Maddux…Glavine was a pitcher. Not blessed with an overpowering fast ball, he relied on breaking stuff and pinpoint control. A two time Cy Young winner, World Series Champ, World Series MVP…and on and on. A long and successful career.
Presented is a Wilson professional model glove (12.5″) A2000 – Pro-Issued 1670 that was used by the pitcher in 1992-93 as well as the All-Star Game. The glove is constructed of Wilson’s top grade tanned steerhide bound with tanned rawhide laces and nylon stitching. “TOM GLAVINE” is stitched in red block lettering along the outer thumb next to the Wilson yellow “W” circular logo cutout. A nice, rectangular Wilson tag is sewn on the outside wrist area with the MLB logo. It features a “Snap Action” palm hinge and a “Grip- Tite Pocket” with a “Dual Hinge”. The glove is malleable (opens and closes) and displays light use (even wear) throughout and features a worn pocket. Glavine signed the base of the pocket area in black felt tip pen for added value. Overall, a unique game used item from a fantastic Hall of Famer.
