1992 Bobby Rahal Race-Worn Crew Jacket
Out of stock
Description
Indy Car racing legend Bobby Rahal, a second generation racer, has been on the driving circuit since the 70’s. This Bobby Rahal team race worn crew jacket comes with a huge Miller Genuine Draft Racing Team MGD emblem sewn directly onto the back of the jacket. Bright yellow, white and black striping follows down the sleeves. “Miller Genuine Draft Rahal-Hogan” is embroidered onto the front in white. Proper “Ashley Sewn Products” tag is sewn into the collar. Size XL jacket is snug and fits more like a ‘large,’ as extra material in the pit is akin to tempting fate and utter personal disaster. This jacket is no souvenir, it’s a serious garment and trophy ordered for members of one of racing’s most elite teams. The demand for genuine racing items continues to escalate with the booming popularity of open-wheel racing, and Rahal, a household name in the sport, is one of the best there ever was. Obtained directly from Rahal Team chief engineer Steve Newey, whose race-worn pit/fire suit was also offered our previous catalog.
