Description

Eugene Robinson was football’s most-feared safety for much of his career. One of the saddest days in Seahawks franchise history came when they traded the three-time Pro Bowler after 11 years of service. Robinson, who was a salary cap causality, would go on to lead the Packers to a win in Super Bowl XXXI.

Robinson wore this size "L" Wilson-made jersey in preparation for the 1993 Pro Bowl. The Wilson codes support this claim as well. The inner side seam gusset has a Wilson tag which reveals "FP". That means this jersey was made in February of 1993. The ’93 Pro Bowl was played Feb. 7.

Light use, as would be expected from a practice jersey, is exhibited on this lightweight mesh pullover. Each of the identifiers is heat pressed in single-color red. "ROBINSON" is applied to an elongated nameplate. A lone Wilson size tag is secured in the tail.

While the jersey is simplistic, the pants make the ensemble noteworthy. Blue and white stripes sandwich red stars on the sides as do American Conference identifiers. There are pilling marks on the backside. Secured in the waistline are the following labels: Wilson, size "34" and "EN" (factory code).

This offering was originally secured from a former NFL equipment manager.
