Description
John Jaha was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1984 and made his Major League debut with the Brewers on July 9, 1992. He also had success playing with the Daikyo Dolphins in the Australian Baseball League in 1991 and 1992 alongside Brewers and 1999 All-Star teammate, Dave Nilsson. Earlier in 1992, while playing for Brewers Triple-A affiliate Denver, Jaha became only the second player (after Joey Meyer) to hit a ball into the upper deck at Mile High Stadium.
Presented is a John Jaha Milwaukee Brewers batting practice worn jersey from 1993. The blue mesh pullover features the “Milwaukee” logo script across the chest in white/yellow tackle twill with his number “32” below as well as on the verso. Tail tagging includes “Rawlings” [size] “46”. Collar tagging is a sewn on patch with the year/player/size details, “93 – JAHA – 46”. Overall, it shows moderate-to-heavy use with thread fraying and wear on the identifiers etc.
