Emmitt Smith wasn’t supposed to be a Hall of Famer. He was too short and far too slow in comparison to such gazelles as Gayle Sayers or Simpson. On Dec. 27, 1998, Smith became the NFL’s all-time rushing touchdown leader when he found the end zone for the 124th time.

Presented is a representation of his 1993 Pro Bowl selection. Although it shows no wear, this game-issued jersey comes from one of his best seasons (1993) in which he had a Super Bowl victory and a MVP award.

It is basic from the era – nothing flashy – simple blue with white lettering screened on. NATIONAL across the chest and red/white “22” jersey numbers.  Accenting red and white striping on the sleeves. 1993 Pro Bowl Sun logo patches adorn each shoulder. SMITH is also screened on the back nameplate. Tagging on front shows it is a Wilson size 44. Smith signed the back in black felt tip pen and a JSA full LOA is included for authentication.
