1994-95 Orel Hershiser Game-Issued Mitt

Orel Hershiser didn’t look like a dominating pitcher much like Pedro Martinez and Greg Maddux don’t. But there is something about the three which makes them Hall of Fame caliber pitchers. To be a successful hurler, you don’t always need to have a big frame and have the most intimidating presence. This Louisville Slugger T125 7T professional glove was issued to, but not worn by Hershiser. The tan glove with a basket web has “Orel Hershiser” embroidered in red thread. This glove is in un-used condition because Hershiser preferred the diamond webbed version glove for games according to noted glove expert Denny Esken. A fine specimen which celebrates one of the Dodgers’ top pitchers ever.
