1994 Art Monk Game-Worn Jets Retro Jersey (w/Great Use and Photo Match)

Art Monk’s distinguished career witnessed brief stops in New York (1994) and Philadelphia (1995). While Monk hauled in the majority of his catches with the Redskins, he did team up with fellow old-timer Boomer Esiason in ’94 to deliver some gridiron magic. This photo-matched throwback jersey was worn by Monk when he played for the Jets.

Monk’s 1994 Fleer Ultra card (#472), one of which will be included, showed him wearing this exact jersey. The custom-cut sleeves and impact marks perfectly match the front (and back) photos on the card. Upon close inspection it’s clear that the hit marks on the front "8" (middle) and "1" match the card. The placement of the NFL 75 Year patch is also correct. The jersey shows great wear with a few sparse hit marks on the mesh shoulders. Champion’s large "C" manufacturer’s logo is also in the correct spot as on the card.

The custom-cut tail has a lone Jets exclusivity tag. The side spandex panels have faded, which is a common occurrence in Jets and Packers jerseys of the period.
