1994 Mike Sherrard Game-Worn Jersey Giants – COA 100% Authentic Team

On April 7, 1993, Mike Sherrard signed as a free agent with the New York Giants. He was off to a great start with 24 receptions for 433 yards and 2 touchdowns through the first 6 games, but lost the rest of the season after suffering a partially dislocated left hip and a fractured hip socket against the Philadelphia Eagles. He also had injury complications when he was diagnosed as having a blood clot on the same hip. His best professional season came in 1994, when he had career-highs in starts (14), receptions (53), receiving yards (825) and touchdowns (6). 

Presented is a game worn Mike Sherrard jersey from his time with the New York Giants in 1993. The jersey is a blue durene material and on the front left tail is an “APEX” manufacturer’s tag with two flag tags attached that read “LONG” and “44” respectively. On the right inseam is a tag with washing instructions. Dating the jersey to the 1993 season, on the left chest is an “NFL 75” anniversary patch embroidered.   The player number “88” appears on the front, on the back and on each sleeve. Across the back reads the player name, “SHERRARD” on a blue nameplate. All numbering and lettering is done in white tackle twill. The sleeves are cuffed. The jersey shows moderate game wear overall with loose threads/marks present.
