1994 Sadaharu Oh Signed Practice Jersey (Worn by Oh in Baseball Clinic)
Out of stock
The world’s leading home run hitter isn’t Josh Gibson, Hank Aaron or even Barry Bonds. The man who hit more round trippers than anyone else was Sadaharu Oh. Japanese baseball fans still respect Oh’s numerous contributions to the grand ol’ game. According to our consignor, this Descente jersey was worn by Sadaharu during the 1994 World Children’s Baseball Fair where Oh was on hand for exhibitions. The legendary bopper recently donated the mesh button-up jersey to the 2007 World Children’s Baseball Foundation auction. All of the identifiers are created in single-color midnight navy tackle twill. A Descente manufacturer’s patch is affixed yo the left sleeve. A manufacturer’s label is secured on the rear interior, as is a “WCBF 1 94” (computer generated) tag. A washing instructions (in Japanese script) flag tag (fraying at the edges) is sewn in the inner side gussett. Oh boldly signed the front in black marker.
