1995-96 Mark Brunnell Game-Worn, Signed Jaguars Helmet

Out of stock

SKU: 48114 Category:

Mark Brunell helped establish major league football in Jacksonville for nine seasons, a span that produced three trips to the Pro Bowl and also gave the franchise instant credibility.

This headgear is from c. 1995-1996. Made by Riddell, the impregnated black shell houses the Jag logos in proper position, displays customized front/back bumpers and warning sticker and displays Brunell’s #8 in 3-color, 1¾” font just atop the bumper. The NFL shield logo is present in proper position.

The interior AF2 padding system remains intact with a 1995 shell stamping. Multiple warning stickers are present as is an All-American recon (7½”) shield sticker.

Brunell’s proper mask (dated to 1996) is present, but the side clips are not original as the QB wore black side shock clips in 1995 and clear cross clips in 1996.

Additionally, while Brunell’s double low hookup chinstrap is present, most photos show him wearing ‘red’ Riddell identifier markings, not black, so the properly styled chinstrap may have been affixed after the fact. Brunell was known to wear both small and medium jaw pads, so these pads are acceptable.

The helmet, showing light overall wear, was signed by Brunell and given to a former NFL equipment manager.
