1995 Jim Thome Game-Used, Bat Signed (PSA/DNA GU 8)

Presented is a Jim Thome game-used Louisville Slugger (L159) bat. When rostered with the Indians in 1995, he used this bat. To note, this one is very rare because there was only a single order matching the length and weight (34-1/4″ and 31.3 oz.) linked to August 4, 1995. The bat is uncracked and shows evidence of outstanding use with slight checking on the back barrel. Many ball marks (blue ink transfers) and stitch impressions are evident. Also visible are cleat marks and red, blue, and black bat rack streaks. There’s a light coat of pine tar on the handle where we also note some red dye (from the batting gloves) mingled in the pine tar. Thome’s uniform number, “25,” and model number are written on the knob in black marker. He also signed the barrel in black felt tip (“9-10”). trong>PSA/DNA bats awarded this one trong>GU 8.
