For its first couple of seasons on the hardwood, Finest was the premium Topps basketball brand. And if it weren’t for a late release that caused a major stir in the hobby, this would have remained the case with 1996-97 Finest Basketball. Like Flair, the main checklist has a tiered structure. Rather than Rows, Finest took a common, uncommon and rare approach (also referred to as bronze, silver and gold).
