The description for this listing has been updated.

The 1996 NFL season concluded with the Packers defeating the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI. The Patriots, though, could hold their head high. They engineered a record of 13-6 (to include the regular season and their post-season victories over the Steelers and the Jaguars). As a matter of course, all the principals of the franchise (players and prominent administrators) were awarded very lavish rings commemorating the team’s AFC Championship.

One such, given to a front office contributor, is now offered. The face is highlighted by the Patriots’ logo, rendered in a polished relief. The entire background of the size "11.5" ring is then bespangled with a clustering of small CZs. The perimeter of the face cites "New England… A.F.C. Champions…19…96." In sharp relief, the left shank acknowledges the original recipient along with the team’s final record that season ("13…6"). The right shank bears the team’s scripted logo and "20…6" (their victorious score over Jacksonville to claim the conference championship). Also on the right shank is the citation of (Super Bowl) "XXXI." And finally, inside the band is stamped the maker, Josten’s. Patriots’ devotees mustn’t ignore this opportunity; this is a fine piece of jewelry with not a blemish to report, fully NM/MT.

Per Summerlin Jewelers, the ring is composed of "…valadium/stainless steel…" with "…thirtysix round cubic zirconia [and] weight of the ring is 36.3 grams."
