Description
Baseball fans everywhere took notice in 1984 when Dwight Gooden burst onto the baseball scene. Equipped with the game’s most lively fastball and a knee buckling curve, Gooden created national headlines with his Hall of Fame talent. Early on, Gooden was as good as any hurler the game had ever seen. During his 16 year career, Dr. K made four All-Star appearances. Offered is one of his game worn jerseys from his time with the New York Yankees in 1996. That season he threw a no-hitter against the Mariners and the Yankees won the World Series.
The grey road jersey showcases “NEW YORK” across the front in two color tackle twill and has his number “11” on the reverse. The front features a Russell Athletic tag along with size 46 – fabric flap and 2″ Extra Body Length. Also is a GOODEN – 96 identifier tag. Overall, shows nice use from the Doc.
