1996 Stinson Game-Worn Jersey Miami Hurricanes – COA 100% Authentic TeamGo Back
This game worn artifact originates from Bobby Revilla. In 1982 with the University of Miami’s athletic department, Revilla started out as a student manager. Over time he worked his way up to a full time head position and served as the head equipment manager. This allowed him to oversee all of the equipment needs and maintenance until 2012. Over his 30 year career, he was also fortunate to be part of all five of Miami’s football national championships. This item was well curated over time by Revilla and is ready to be part of a new legacy.
Presented from Revilla’s collection is a Stinson Miami Hurricanes game-worn home jersey from 1996. It is an orange Hurricanes home jersey, that is multi-layered and designed by Nike. It features double-ply stretchy shoulder material, appliquéd traditional sleeve striping, and inspired art around the neck and sleeve ends. Of note, is the particularly rich hue of orange which showcases the mesh portion of the body. It features his number “95” printed on the chest, back, and shoulders in white with black borders. Note, Miami used drop shadowed numbers beginning in 1996.
On the back nameplate, “STINSON” is printed across the back shoulders in white lettering. The front chest features a Big East logo, a white Nike swoosh and the Miami “U” logo. The sides of the jersey are elasticized for fit. A size “56” tag with a handwritten “1” designator for game worn in black felt tip is sewn in collar. The jersey shows mild to moderate wear overall with some soiling marks near the back nameplate.
