1997-98 Todd Jones Detroit Stars (Tigers) Game-Worn, Signed TBC Negro Leagues Jersey

Love him or hate him, Todd Jones had some serious game. The mustached reliever was a dependable closer for the Tigers during his career.  This size "50" throwback jersey was worn by Jones in either 1997 or ’98. Detroit paid homage to the Negro Leagues during throwback contests. This was worn by Jones for one game and then signed on the verso in black felt tip. The identifiers are created in single-color tackle twill. The use is ample as there is minor staining in the tail. There are dirt remnants on the white edges of the button path as well. Sewn in the tail is an AIS manufacturer’s label and size indicator. AIS created the jerseys in 1997 and ’98. In the ’95 throwback contest, uniforms were made by Russell Athletic.
