1997 Andre Rison Game-Worn, Signed Chiefs Jersey

Though considered eccentric by some, Andre Rison was yet a consistent downfield threat who could put his team over the top – just ask the Green Bay Packers. After Rison left Green Bay, he settled with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1997. This jersey was worn lightly by the All-Pro wideout in 1997. Minimal wear is apparent with pilling on the right dazzle cloth shoulder yoke. All of the identifiers are applied in two-color, red-on-yellow tackle twill. “RISON” is sewn to a nameplate on the verso. Customizations include stretch side panels, underarm extensions, and elasticized sleeve ends. Sewn into the tail is a 1997 Pro Line Authentic tag. A Reebok size “42” tag is affixed in the collar. Another flag tag (unreadable) is zigzag-stitched below the Reebok tag. Rison signed (“9”) the front shoulder in black felt tip, adding the moniker “Spiderman.”
