1997 Dennis Eckersley Game-Worn “Negro Leagues Tribute” Cap

Dennis Eckersley is one of the few Hall of Famers who made his living closing out games. He wore this cap during a 1997 contest that paid tribute to the Negro Leagues’ St. Louis Stars. Nice one-game use is shown on the inner headband with light sweat marks. “43” is markered inside the internal crown reinforcement in black felt tip, and “7-4-97” is written under the bill in silver paint pen. An American Needle [size] “7 3/8” tag appears in the inner headband, and another tag has been removed.
