1997 Jack Nicklaus Match-Worn, Signed Senior Open Shirt
Out of stock
When people retire, golf seems to be part of the routine. But, what happens when pro-golfers retire? In 2005, Jack Nicklaus officially retired. No doubt, the links will still be a big part of his life in both leisure and business, and today he’s well-known in club and course designing. This size “L” unwashed shirt was worn by Nicklaus in the last round of the 1997 Senior Open. It bears his own logo as well as his sponsor, Lincoln-Mercury. Nicklaus also putted his name across the front lapel area in black felt tip pen (“8-9”). A letter of how this unique item was obtained and original bid sheet will be forwarded to the winner. The shirt was donated by an executive from Lincoln-Mercury for the Otto Graham Lincoln Mercury Sports Legends Classic held in 1997.
