Jose Cardenal coached for the Reds, Cardinals, Yankees, and Devil Rays. He was the first base coach for the Yankees run of World Championships in 1996, 1998, and 1999.[5] He resigned from his position with the Yankees prior to the 2000 season over a contract dispute.

Jose Cardenal wore this size “42” jersey when the Yankees ruled the baseball landscape and he was a coach in 1997. Moderate wear is exhibited on the offered pin-striped home jersey especially notable in the label tagging. The Yankees’ interlocking “NY” team insignia is proudly displayed on the left breast. His number “53” is in navy tackle twill. Three tags are sewn in the tail: Russell Athletic [size] 42, fabric content flag tag and a computerized “CARDENAL 97” tag.
