1997 Kevin Mitchell Game-Used Bat

A product of the San Diego streets, Kevin Mitchell orchestrated a splendid major league career (most-notably for the 1986 Mets). He used this imposing Rawlings bat during his play with the Indians in 1997. There’s a donut impression on the barrel, red rack marks, numerous ball and cleat marks, as well as moderate pine tar on the cracked handle. His number “44” and “491X” are written in black marker on the knob and barrel. In blue ballpoint, written on the knob is “34 1/2 Mitchell.”
