Jose Carlos de Almedia is best known as Ze Carlos. He started his football career in 1990 and played for many teams the last of which was Portuguesa (2005). Ze Carlos was selected for the roster of the 1998 FIFA World Cup due to injuries to other players. The only match he was in was the semifinal against the Netherlands. He didn’t play in the final.
