Presented is a large ephemera collection from the 1998 The Presidents Cup held at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club (Australia). The Americans led by Tiger Woods were defeated by the International team. Nonetheless, Woods faired well against Greg Norman (Day 4) and in the partners portion with Fred Couples against Ernie Els and Vijay Singh (Day 1). Because of the tournament location, the Tiger and PGA memorabilia seeker would be hard pressed to find many of these things in the U.S. The collection (all with PC logo) includes three TV ticket badges (one punched), three media guides (two signed by Nick Price), two official spectator guides, three golf bag towels, a golf bag medallion, two course maps, media print outs, welcome letter & media notebook (in leather cases), stationary, two official magazines with programs and a carrying case (new w/tags) that was gifted to media members.
