1999 Ahman Green Game-Worn Seahawks Jersey (w/Great Use)

Ahman Green proved to be one of Mike Holmgren’s biggest coaching mistakes. Holmgren, a brilliant offensive mind, gave up far too early on Green, trading him to the tundra of Green Bay. In the NFL’s smallest city, Green flourished and became an regular Pro Bowl selection.

Green wore this Seahawks road jersey in 1999, and it has exemplary running back wear. The shoulders bear numerous dings and at least three team repairs. Green helmet facemask marks (Packers?) are visible atop the "A" in the verso’s "Ahman." (The Packers played the Seahawks Nov. 1 on Monday Night Football, and in all probability, this jersey was worn in that game.) Both sleeve ends are elasticized and Puma manufacturer’s logos are sewn on both sleeve ends. Each of the single-color royal blue tackle twill identifiers has softened. Stretch spandex runs from the underarms down the sides. The jersey is hemmed above the tag line. According to our consignor, this was originally obtained from a Green family member, although we have no written support to this claim. This is the definitive Ahman Green Seahawks gamer.
