1999 UD Century Legends Ted Williams Century Epic Signatures Card #TW PSA Graded MINT 9 Signed

Presented is a card that ranks #5 on the all-time Ted Williams baseball card list according to Cardboard Connection. It is a rare on-card autograph of Boston Red Sox legend, Ted Williams. Unfaded, the signature presents solidly in blue felt tip. The masterpiece comes via the 1999 Upper Deck Century Legends set in the Century Epic Signatures category (#TW). There were only 100 made (hand-numbered) and this one is 7/100. This modern insert era was the beginning of on-card autographs with the “on sticker” and “on cuts” era shortly to follow. Therefore it’s pleasant to find an on-card autograph of Ted Williams in this form. Shortly thereafter, he died in 2002. Understandably, the small window encourages desirability tremendously. We concur of the #5 ranking and are excited to bring this rare card to market.
