2000-01 David Ortiz Game-Used, Autographed Twins Bat

Big Papi worked his way to become a fence-busting slugger. When he was with the Twins, David Ortiz was a lightly-regarded player who could go into a prolonged tailspin at the drop of a hat.

At some point between 2000 and ’01, Ortiz put decent use into this uncracked Louisville Slugger model C243 bat (which is uncracked). There’s a light layer of deadwood on the back barrel as well as red bat rack streaks. Cleat marks are also evident. Ortiz signed the end and added his number (at the time) "38" in black marker. He added an inscription but it is faded.
