On January 4, 2000 at the Louisina Superdome the BCS National Championship was played.  It was the Sugar Bowl and featured the Florida State Seminoles (ACC ) versus the Virginia Tech Hokies from the Big East. The Seminoles clinched the 1999 BCS national championship with a 46-29 score. Peter Warrick was the MVP.

Presented is a 2000 Florida State Seminoles National Championship ring (Sugar Bowl). It is 10k yellow gold with a cushion shaped cabouchon cut imitation ruby gemstone and is pave set with 24 round full cut cubic zirconia gemstones. The bezel top features a central logo within a championship trophy. One flank has “SUGAR BOWL CHAMPIONS – FS 2000 VT – 46-29” and the other “JENNINGS – Florida State NOLES” (unknown player or staff member). The inside is engraved “HJ-10K”. The [size] is 11 with a weight of 45 grams.
