2000 Mark McGwire Game-Used Cardinals Bat, Graded PSA 9

Mark McGwire was still the talk of baseball in 2000. The homer happy redhead was pounding the ball out of the ballpark on a regular basis. In only 89 games, McGwire connected on 32 long balls. This Adirondack bat (34.5” and 32.8 ounces) was used by Big Mac in 2000, just a year before he retired. Blue and red transfer marks are located on the left barrel while green bat rack marks appear on the top of the barrel. A healthy layering of pine tar is evident on the barrel and runs past the trademark. “MAC 25”, “897” and “00” (year) are stamped on the knob for identification purposes. The uncracked stick features a PSA/DNA sticker on the barrel end. The bat has been graded “9” by esteemed bat authenticator John Taube.
