Out of stock
This is the one and only PSA/DNA certified rookie game worn helmet of 3X Super Bowl Champion and future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady of the New England Patriots. This helmet is Awesome! This is the first helmet that Tom was given and wore during his first season which started his legendary career with the New England Patriots. It was worn the first time he stepped on the field as a signal caller – November 23, 2000 – Thanksgiving Day against the Detroit Lions. Brady had a relief appearance due to Drew Bledsoe’s hand injury – (the loss also aided the decision to throw Brady in as the Lions won 34-9).
This helmet is entirely all original, is certified by PSA/DNA (#1A72983), can easily be photo matched to Tom’s entire rookie season and is the exact helmet he is wearing in all of his Patriots rookie cards.
There are early photos of Tom wearing this exact helmet before he had the equipment staff add the high chin strap in which he wears today. The helmet was originally purchased during the NFL Auction in New York. Brady put a nice big autograph on it’s dome at a Tristar Show certificate #3001843. The next owner will receive all paperwork along with a 16×20 photo of Tom Brady wearing this exact helmet.
Doesn’t get much better than this! This is one of Tom Brady’s significant game/career pieces that is now available to own. This piece speaks for itself with its impeccable certification, multiple photo matches and should be in a very serious world class sports collection!
Check out our photomatch in the video. Seen on a freeze frame from his rookie debut in 2000 versus Detroit we can see the “V” shaped scuffing on the top right side of the helmet that matches exactly in the footage.
