2001 Andy Pettitte Game-Issued World Series Jersey w/Black Armband w/ Steiner Hologram

Andy Pettitte’s affinity for the Big Apple led him back to New York in 2007. One of the most recognizable Yankees during their latest dynasty was issued this size “50” jersey for the 2001 World Series. The Yankees sported black armbands on their left sleeves in memory of those who perished on 9-11. A 2001 World Series patch is affixed above the 9-11 armband. The right sleeve is decorated with a 100 Seasons American League patch. All of the identifiers are created in single-color Yankee blue tackle twill. An American flag patch is sewn in the back collar in honor of our involvement in the war. Tail tagging features a Russell Athletic tag (Yankee Steiner hologram affixed) and two suspended flag tags: fabric content/size and “2” Extra Length.”
