2001 Cal Ripken Jr Game-Worn Hat (Final Season)

Baseball could sure use Cal Ripken Jr. again. When the dreaded lockout plagued baseball, it had Cal to lean on. Who is there now that he is retired?
Ripken wore this size "7 1/2" cap during the final stages of his career. Because it includes an American flag on the side, it had to have been worn after the Sept. 11 attacks. Ripken’s familiar "8" is carefully scribed under the bill. The use is adequate with sweat staining. There is also wear on the underside of the brim.
