2001 Marvin Lewis Game-Used Redskins “9-11” Coach’s Shirt (w/NFL Letter)

SKU: 40343 Category:

During his tenure in Washington, Marvin Lewis was “the” defensive coordinator. Every football mind knew it was only a matter of time before he would ink a head coaching pact. And the Bengals handed over the reigns of their organization to Lewis in 2003. Lewis wore this size “XL” polo shirt when he was calling the shots for the Redskins’ defense in 2001. A special “9-11” flag patch and embroidery is sewn on the right breast. NFL Auctions secured many of the top coaches’ shirts shortly after 9-11 and auctioned them for charity. Secured in the collar are a Reebok tag and a size tag (with “ML” written in marker). Affixed to the size tag is an NFL Auctions/PSA/DNA certification sticker. An NFL Auctions letter accompanies.
